Instructions
  1. Set over to 350 degrees. Spray a large baking pan (approximately 12 x 18-inches) with vegetable oil spray.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients (except for dried fruit) in large bowl. Combine wet ingredients and mix well into dry ingredients.
  3. Pour into pan and bake about 15 minutes, until top is starting to brown. Take out of oven and mix well and put back in oven; take out about every 4-5 minutes when top has started to brown and mix well until entire mixture has browned, about 40 minutes total.
  4. Take out of oven and mix in dried fruit; let cool then store in air-tight container.
Recipe Notes

1) Granola is wonderful served with yogurt, fresh berries and milk. 2) This is my traditional recipe, however, ingredients may be added and/or substituted as desired and no two batches of mine are ever exactly the same. Some favorite other ingredients of mine are sunflower seeds and dried cherries. Sweeteners agave or maple syrup may be substituted for the honey or sweetener may be left out altogether. 3) I always double the recipe and use two large pans, alternating top and bottom racks so pans of granola may bake evenly. 4) Package in cellophane bags, tie and label. It makes a wonderful gift your friends will greatly appreciate!   Affiliate Links:
