Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Thoroughly wash and dry oranges. Use potato peeler to peel the outer orange skin of the oranges, being careful not to peel the white pith. Put peels in a jar.
  2. Pour Vodka over the orange peels and put lid on the jar. Let set for about 2 weeks to fully infuse the flavor from the peels into the Vodka.
  3. Make simple syrup mixture by heating water in a pan or microwave until it begins to simmer. Take away from heat source and add sugar. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved and let cool.
  4. Strain out the orange peels from the infused Vodka–a coffee filter inside a strainer works well to strain all the small particles. Add the simple syrup to the infused Vodka and stir well.
  5. Pour into a clean, decorative bottle and let set at least 1 week. Place bottle of Orangecello in freezer for at least 3 hours prior to serving. Pour and enjoy!
